Summary: "Amazingly Entertaining"
I thought this book was amazing, yet it could get slightly boring at times. But then there were times when I didn't want to put down my kindle. I felt Jen Calonita used amazing vocabulary. This book was awesome but, like all books, not everyone would find it as entertaining as I did. It all depends on what kind of books you like reading. If you are into Hollywood and girlyness, then this book is for you. But if you like reading the Harry Potter series, you might want to consider something else.

Summary: "one of the best series ever"
i have read all 5 books and cants wait for the next one coming in a year (2011) please read this series. this is the first book of 5 about kaitlen. she is a hollywood actress and wanted a normal life. im not going to say any more because i dont want to give away anything. i would say ages 11 to 15 or around there... please read this book! warning; you willl get hooked and read all 5 ;-)

Summary: "A Great Read!"
I have to admit that going into this I as expecting a whole lot. Maybe an okay read, but nothing close to what I got. Since, surprisingly enough, Secrets of My Hollywood Life was a fabulous read and is officially one of my newest guilty pleasures.
Kaitlin, the main character, is a Hollywood starlet who shows you that while Tinsel Town can be amazing, it comes with it's prices including the fact that a normal life is something that you almost never get. I found Kaitilin to be likeable from start because even though she's a huge star, she's just a normal girl on the inside who loves Star Trek and would do anything for her friends and family. Further more, I found her 'entourage' to be fantastically funny and likeable even with some of the faults they had.
While the premise of this is something you see a lot of these days, I thought Jen did a great job at making Kaitilin's story a fun and fast paced journey. I loved all the "Celeb Secrets" to the fact that Jen did a great job of caputurating what it must feel like to be a teen star. Plus, I adored the ending! It was so cute and perfect, leaving it to definitely make me want to read the rest of the series.
In all, Secrets of My Hollywood Life is a book you should definitely add to your to-read list! I promise it won't be as superficial as it appears.

Summary: "Secrets of my Hollywood Life"
And yet again we see an example of a book that cannot under any circumstances be taken seriously. It's fluff fiction and only fluff fiction, don't look for it to send any higher messages. As far as fluff fiction goes, I've seen better, I've seen worse. First of all, I'm pretty sure this entire book is the premise to Hannah Montana. All the glitzy references did not hide the sub-par quality of writing, and I got so tremendously sick of the lengthy clothing brand descriptions after each character entered a scene. It's all pretty one-dimensional characterization. Despite everything, though, it's a cutesy read, and I might seek out the sequels, but they're not high on my list. The content of the sequels completely eludes me, as I thought everything was wrapped up nicely in this book, but we'll see, I suppose.

Summary: "AMAZING"
this book was amazing!!! the book was in perfect shape! i absolutely loved this book. It is a full description of Hollywood Life as an "It" girl. it even has secrets about Hollywood. I learned so much information from this book it was unbelievable. Everyone should read it.
