Dark Matter eLiquid
Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.
Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.
Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Summary: "Funny read"
More trials and tribulations of being a privileged Hollywood star teenager trying to live her Hollywood life which she enjoys for the most part and the life of a "regular" teenager...for the most part. Entertaining fiction.

Kaitlin Burke is finally experiencing something that everyone in Hollywood, at least those on the small screen, hates the most... having the show that made you a household name come to an end. That's right folks - Family Affair is finally coming to a close, and you know that's making the headlines on all the tabloids.
However, that isn't the only thing making the headlines.
After her show comes to an end, everyone wants to know "what's next for Kaitlin?" She has several options, including getting another role on another show, moving to the big screen, or just taking a break. Everyone is pressuring her in every way possible, and for Kaitlin, she just does not have a clue about what is next.
What does happen next, though, is Kaitlin becomes a paparazzi princess. That's right, she becomes another Britney and Lindsay. Photos of Kaitlin partying with some new friends are beginning to cover the tabloids, and it's something she would not want while her future career is already being questioned. Does she really want to go from the A-List to the D's in a heartbeat?
It doesn't really help when she is already having problems with Liz and her own personal family affairs. Will Kaitlin be able to fix the situation before it gets out of hand? Or will the next line out of her mouth be "Hi, I'm Kaitlin and I'm a..."
PAPARAZZI PRINCESS is the fourth installment in the SECRETS OF MY HOLLYWOOD LIFE series. Usually as a series drags on, the plot becomes tiring. But Jen Calonita continues to make her successful series appealing and dramatic.
Kaitlin continues to be a likeable character who seems to be the only one in Hollywood with her head on straight. The series in itself gives the readers an inside look at the supposed glitz and glamour of being famous. PAPARAZZI PRINCESS in itself lets us see how easy it is to be photographed in the worst possible light. With this installment, readers are able to see that the price that comes with being famous is your very own privacy.

Summary: "Much ado about very little"
The big question in my mind, until the turning point, was "Is she going to take a drink?" And I was disappointed that she did not. There are ways to show that without being exploitative. Just, show her feeling the effects, coming home and falling into bed, and waking up the next morning feeling horrible. There wouldn't have to be any dire consequences, just her realizing that alcohol doesn't drown sorrow.
And the fact that this didn't happen makes the premise unrealistic. Honestly, if ALL she did was dance on a table, not drink or mack on a guy who was not her boyfriend or get caught in an upskirt shot, I just can't see the media and public caring so much. IRL, they'd make a few snide remarks about her cankles and small chest and move on. Her behavior is just not that outrageous, no matter how famous she is.
Which brings me to another point. Yes, Kaitlin is an important person, but she's not the ONLY celebrity in the (book's) world. The media can't be entirely focused on her, so the way she takes every negative media mention of her so hard makes her seem unbearably self-centered. The ratio of the press she gets seems to be ten fawning interviews to one snarky column, but every time she sees one of those columns, it's "WAH! Why are they persecuting me?!"
When you get down to it, Kaitlin and Sky are basically the same: both obsessed with their image. Sky wants to be a (bigger) star, and she's the caricature of a diva, storming around firing people, but Kaitlin, while far more pleasant, is still a black hole of need. If her crew's not there to solve her problems, she's helpless; she'd rather moan about being stuck than try something new and risk failure; and despite what she says, I get the impression that she can't bear not to be loved by everyone in Hollywood, the country and the world. She doesn't have big public tantrums when she takes a hit in the press, but a "me me me" mindset cushioned by politeness and sweetness is still a "me me me" attitude. Time for Kaitlin to grow up a bit. Hopefully she will in the next volume.

Summary: "The End of an Affair"
I've learned so much from reading this series. All the secrets that are told in this book really gives an insider's look to the Hollywood industry. This time the reader learns what needs to be done when an actress is making a change in her career and the steps that must be done to keep that career going. I felt that this book showed Kaitlin as more of a Hollywood star and less of a regular teen than previous novels. I didn't think there was anything in this book that screamed normal in this story. Sure she had to face studying for SATs but other than that, all her problems and dilemmas came from being a celebrity. The whole industry from Kaitlin's view is fascinating from the Vanity Fair party to having to deal with socialites who thrive on the paparazzi to learning how celebrities handle music contracts. I also liked how the author took a rather formulaic story (best friends grow apart, new girl comes in between) and put a twist on it and took it to a whole new level. I thought I was going to get the same old predictable storyline but instead I was delightfully surprised.
This has been one of the best YA series I've read this year because it's been fun and informative at the same time. Jen Calonita writes in a way that is entertaining, page turning but without having to resort to sex and language for page filler. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see what else is in store for Kaitlin.
