Summary: "A Good First Effort Who's Charm Overcomes Its Faults"
This book is a bit tough to review since I my feelings about it were up and down during the reading. (If they had half stars, I would have gone 3.5)
At first I think I was a bit turned off about how colloquial and informal the writing was at times. It felt more like reading a blog or Twitter feed than a book. Sure, I know this is not going to be Melville going in, yet I do expect some quality to the writing. So after my initial impressions, I was having problems with the book in general. But here is the thing,many of her stories have a charm and wit that shine through some of the rough edges. So for every bit that seems a little rushed or tacked on, there are chapters that are hilarious, insightful or touching. She definitely has a unique voice and interesting things to say. Whether talking about growing up in Oklahoma or behind-the-scenes Hollywood stories, it is done with a down to earth humor that appeals to the reader and takes them there, rather than feeling like an outsider reading the exploits of another from a far.
While the positives I just mentioned make the book often enjoyable, the ultimately lead back to feelings of frustration. At times you will think, "I know that her writing can be good, why is the book contain so much wasted filler" The book seems rushed and I could not help but think if they really had spent more time writing and editing it could have been great book. Conversely, this is only her first book; so there is hope that future books will work through some of these issues.
If you are a fan or are looking for a fast fun humours read about geek culture, I would recommend it. Just be prepared to trudge through some fluff to get to the great bits

Summary: "Olivia Munn is a void..."
Maybe somewhere deep down Olivia Munn is a sad and insecure woman who is afraid to really let loose on how she feels and what she thinks of herself. Perhaps she thinks it's too sad or depressing to show her fans her real wounds and personal scars. Or worse, maybe she's just nothing but a hot girl with nothing to say like every other bubble head on the internet with their own blog accounts. Either way, it's not worth the price of this book to find out and ponder on that notion.

Olivia Munn outdid herself with her book.
Its a great compilation of childhood memories, hollywood life lessons, and just crazy off the wall adventures from Olivia's life.
A must read for Olivia Munn Fans!!!
Can't wait for the next installment.
